ISOWOOL 1260 and 1430 FELT are vacuum formed felts produced from ISOWOOL BULK and suitable organic binder including a latex binder. ISOWOOL 1600 FELT is including Alumina Fiber. The organic binder imparts strength required in handling during installation, but burns away as temperature rises during use. Then given the propensity for peering off in the direction of layering, it is not recommendable for the use in the first hot face layer but recommendable in the back-up layer and sealing application.
